The 8th Annual Short Story Contest

Have you ever dreamed about being a famous writer? Have you ever thought about the impact your words could have on a larger audience? Well, here is your chance to begin to make those dreams come true. Write a story for Hungary’s largest writing contest.
All you need to do is the following:
Be original with your story
Be clear with your words
Have fun creating your journey
Last year, over 400 students from around Hungary participated, both from Hungarian and international schools.

For whom: All students ages 12 to 19 living in Hungary, who read and write in English.
Why: The contest aims to encourage students to read and write short stories in English.
What: The fictional short story must not be longer than five (5) typed pages, double spaced (1250 words), Times New Roman, size 12 font.
